Twilight photos are the ones buyers stop scrolling for: warm light glowing from every window, a deep blue sky behind the roofline, and the landscaping lit the way the owner enjoys it. Photogenic Properties shoots twilight exteriors for listings across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, for one flat price of $249.99 whatever the size of the property.
It is the cover shot. A lit house against a dark sky is the image that makes a listing stand out in a feed of daytime photos.
It shows the lighting package. Pot lights, landscape lighting, pool lights and architectural details only read after sunset.
It flatters the exterior. Soft sky and warm windows hide a grey day, a plain driveway or a lawn that is out of season.
It suits premium listings. For luxury homes, new builds and commercial buildings, twilight is the shot that carries the brochure and the social post.
How a Twilight Shoot Is Planned
The window is short. Twilight photos are captured in the short period around sunset when the sky still has colour, so the shoot is booked to that time, not to a convenient hour.
Every light on. Interior lights, exterior lights, landscape and pool lighting all on, blinds and curtains open so the windows glow.
The exterior cleared. Cars off the driveway, bins away, garden furniture set and hoses and toys out of frame.
Blended exposures. Several frames are combined so the sky, the windows and the facade are all correctly exposed in one photo.
Twilight Photography Pricing
$249.99 for any property size — twilight is the one service with a single flat price, from a condo building entrance to a large estate. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
Twilight is usually booked as a second visit after the main shoot, or on the same evening as HDR listing photography. Aerial twilight shots are available with drone photography.
Where We Shoot
Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Thornhill and the rest of the Greater Toronto Area, as well as Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph. Additional travel fees may apply outside our standard service area.
Twilight Photography FAQ
What time will the photographer arrive?
Shortly before sunset, so the camera is set up and the house is ready when the sky turns. The exact time changes through the year, and we confirm it with you when the shoot is booked.
What if the weather is bad that evening?
We reschedule at no extra cost. A flat grey sky does not produce a twilight photo worth publishing.
Can twilight be added after the main photo shoot?
Yes. It is a separate evening visit and can be booked at any point while the property is on the market.
Do you shoot twilight for commercial buildings?
Yes — office buildings, retail and restaurant exteriors and new developments all photograph well at dusk.
