Real Estate Photography in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge

Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge are one market with three very different housing stocks: condo towers along the ION line, century homes around Victoria Park and the three historic cores of Cambridge, student and investor housing beside the universities, and subdivisions still being finished on the edges of all three cities. Photogenic Properties covers the region with photography, drone, video, 3D tours and floor plans, and photos are delivered within 24 hours of the shoot.

What We Shoot in Kitchener-Waterloo

  • Downtown Kitchener and Uptown Waterloo. Condo suites and the tech corridor between them, where an aerial frame showing the walk to an ION stop does more for a listing than another interior photo.
  • Victoria Park, Westmount and Beechwood. Mature streets and century homes that reward a slower shoot, careful work with mixed light, and twilight exteriors.
  • The university district. Student and investor housing near Waterloo’s two campuses, where a floor plan and a 3D tour let an out-of-town buyer or parent understand a multi-unit layout without a visit.
  • Galt, Preston and Hespeler. Cambridge has three downtowns rather than one, and the Grand River frontage in Galt is part of the price — aerial photos place the property against the river and the heritage core.
  • New builds in Doon South, Laurelwood and Clemens Mill. Model homes and just-finished houses photographed before the staging leaves, with floor plans for the whole plan type.
  • Industrial and commercial along the 401 and Hespeler Road. Warehouses, logistics space and retail documented with exterior, interior and aerial coverage of the site and its parking.
  • Rural Woolwich, Wilmot and North Dumfries. Acreage and farm properties where ground-level photos cannot show the lot at all and the aerial is the listing’s main image.

Travel, Scheduling and Drone Flights in Waterloo Region

The region sits about 100 km west of our Thornhill base, outside the standard GTA service area, so travel is quoted with the booking rather than included — ask for it with the address and the full price is confirmed before you commit. Because of the drive, several properties booked for the same trip schedule better than one at a time, and a twilight visit is best planned as part of the same day rather than a separate evening.

Part of the region east of Kitchener sits under the controlled airspace around the Region of Waterloo International Airport. Drone flights there need authorization arranged in advance, so send the address as early as you can and we will confirm what is possible before the shoot rather than on the day.

How It Works

  1. Book the services and a date online or by phone, ideally at least 48 hours ahead.
  2. Prepare the property: decluttered rooms, clean surfaces, every light working, cars off the driveway.
  3. One visit covers everything booked, so the seller is only disturbed once.
  4. Delivery by secure download link: photos and 3D tours within 24 hours, video within 48 hours.

Kitchener-Waterloo FAQ

Is there a travel fee for Kitchener, Waterloo or Cambridge?

Yes. The region is outside our standard GTA service area, so travel is quoted with the booking. Send the address with your enquiry and the full price is confirmed before you commit to the shoot.

Can you shoot several properties in the region on one trip?

That is the best way to book it. Tell us the addresses and the dates they need to go live and we will plan the route and the timing so everything is shot to the same standard on one visit to the region.

Can you fly a drone near the Region of Waterloo airport?

It depends on the exact address. Part of the area east of Kitchener is controlled airspace and needs authorization arranged in advance, so send the address as early as you can and we will confirm before the shoot.
