Photogenic Properties is a Toronto-based architectural visual studio. We create precise, considered photography and cinematic documentation of designed spaces — working with architects, interior designers, builders, and developers who understand that exceptional visual storytelling is not a commodity. It is a creative act. With five years of practice and over a thousand projects across the Greater Toronto Area, we bring patience, craft, and a deep understanding of light and space to every engagement. From our base in Thornhill we cover Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and Oakville, as well as Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph. Additional travel fees may apply outside our standard service area.
Drone work is the one part of this job that needs a licence, and ours is a Transport Canada Pilot Certificate — Basic Operations (RPAS), held since March 2022. In practice that means an address is checked against the airspace before a date is agreed, the aircraft is registered and marked, and flights are kept within visual line of sight, below 122 metres, and at least 30 metres from anyone not part of the shoot.
